Hannon Brothers are delighted to be awarded the Earthworks & Groundworks package for Brindley Academy in Kinver for our repeat client Bowmer + Kirkland
As part of the Government funded School Rebuilding Programme (SRP) Brindley Heath Junior School has been awarded planning permission for it’s redevelopment as the existing buildings are life-expired and no longer fit for modern day teaching purposes.
The works will comprise of construction of a new school on the existing playing fields, demolition of the existing school & the final relandscaping of the original building footprint to create new playing fields and outdoor teaching space.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are building their first temple in the UK for 30 years and Hannon Brothers have been chosen to undertake the ground works incl. 278 works, hard landscaping & street furniture.
This is a unique project for us and one that we relish the challenge to undertake.

Farthingstone in Northamptonshire will be a "unique, high quality hospitality venue set amongst a revitalised landscape managed for nature."
The first phase has been completed with service entries, drainage outfall & tarmac being installed to the confined 750m long access on to site.
With one way in & one way out this was a logistical challenge, however now complete, works can progress at pace with the earthworks to internal access roads & building platforms.

We have been contracted to undertake the groundworks on a new 545,000 Sqft warhouse forming park of the new multi-unit deveolpment.
Works commenced at the start of June & we look forward to sharing further updates as works progress on site.

Amazing progress in just two weeks at Project SPARK - Walsall
Unit A - 90% of Foundations installed, Dock Leveller being shuttered and poured, 15m x 3mØ Separator in the ground.
Unit G - Outfall drainage connections through live service yard next week.

Final touches are being completed at Molson Coors new offices in Burton, ready for practical completion handover on Monday.
Refurbishment and extension of the former National Brewery Centre into Molson Coors new headquarters.
Our works included the replacement of existing and new drainage, ducting, floor slab renewal, internal drainage connections, new paving, street furniture supply & install, remedial works to the car park including replacing the defective sub base, tarmac road base and binder.
We think it looks great and will hopefully be enjoyed by employees & guests for years to come.

It's great to see the final results of everyones hard work at Plot D2, Infinity park, Derby.
Works included a 507,000 sq ft unit, 16,000m2 service yard, permeable parking bays, 24nr headwalls of various sizes with some including automated penstocks, gabion walls & the civils associated with an adoptable section of a proposed new link road.
The new link road is planned to connect Infinity Park to a dedicated junction on the A50, works on progressing the link road are due to commence in 2026.
The project achieved EPC 'A+' and BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating and was completed on time & budget for our valued client Bowmer + Kirkland.

Following remediation of 1.3m tonnes of soil & the crushing of 150,000 Tonnes of concrete for re-use, Hannon Brothers are looking to start works in Feburary 2025 to provide the first two units on this site.

Despite the wet weather, Phase 1 handover of the concrete circulation road is still on target.
This will enable the possession of the current access route for the building platform preparation, bases to be dug & the steel frame to be erected.
We are making good use of time on site without other frame contractors to get as much of the external yard installed in advance, providing a safe laydown and access routes to follow on trades.
Hannon Brothers have been chosen by their valued repeat client McLaren Construction Group to undertake the groundworks for the prestigious Bentley Motor Company and the new Integrated Logistics Centre in Crewe.
Following Demolition of the 86,000 sq ft temporary logistics centre at its Pyms Lane campus, a new 145,000 sq ft permanent facility will be erected in its place.
Works planned to commence in earnest, January 2025.

Works to involve alterations to a newly constructed distribution warehouse in Warrington.
Formation of a RC pit within the existing building to house automation equipment controlling the goods in and out process, as well as installing 4no. external concrete plinths to cater for back-up generators.
Works commenced October 2024 with completion by year end.

As part of our drive to always improve our practices and generate greater efficiencies, when we were required to install a kerb brace for the S38 works at Infinity Park Derby to adoptable standards, rather than utilising traditional road-forms we were able to let the works to PDK Kerb Extrusion. Working with our machine in attendance we were able to vastly improve on our expected outputs & improve on a tight programme.
