One of the first fully EV future-proofed projects we undertook. The job required careful planning to maintain full use of a pedestrian and cycle path through the project.
An existing TSB car park required reconfiguring and adjusting to suit new overflow van parking, adjacent to the main site. Pre-cast troughs were installed across the job to facilitate the future EV requirements and provision for 20nr future LV substations. The main warehouse required 3,500m3 of attenuation tanks & a SUDs permeable car park. In addition to this, we undertook the concrete works for the three-storey carpark and the upper decks to the internal offices and the S38 re-alignment works for a new access road and cycle route diversion as well as the usual groundworks package of foundations, drainage, services & externals.
Initially undertaking the enabling works including the main access spine road, services, drainage, headwalls and Tarmac. Hannon Brothers were awarded the main works which consisted of the construction of 4nr new units over 2 sites.
Creation of a new unit built over previous cooling tower foundations and RC Culvert taking water from the adjacent River Trent. The new plot is now adjacent to a busy road and rail freight terminal.
Creation of 6nr new units and associated access roads/ car parks on an old landfill tip that previously housed the old Imperial Tabacco factory.
