Project Details

Delivery of infrastructure and groundworks on a remediated brownfield site.

Constructed on the former James Bridge Copper Works site, these units formed the first phase of a major logistics development. Due to site contamination, strict material management procedures were maintained throughout. Works included approximately 2,000m³ of concrete foundations, radon membrane installation and verification, ground-floor and upper-office slabs, 1,800m of drainage, 2,500m of service trenches, 15,000m² of service yards and 3,000m² of SUDs permeable parking aisles. Off-site infrastructure works also included a 1,000m² reinforced grass access road for future National Grid access.
